Yeah, Hey .. Abel, did you get the memo on the TPS reports?

Play list:
No Brakes
The Grouch
Sell Out

No Brakes!.. That's right .. Somehow its how I feel most of the time. I seem to do it all and never stop. People ask me to do everything and everything is top priority. Ever get that? Stretched in 1000 different directions. I think I am lucky in a way.

I am only under pressure at work. Only problem is, I thrive under pressure. I seem to enjoy the challenge. I enjoy precision when I don't know the answers. Like any pressure, I see it best on a timeline. Seconds to go, time to make a choice, do the right thing, one chance to get it right, All in, no turning back, hang on .. This flight sucks and we don't serve peanuts!

Okay, so most people can't handle it. They prefer to stay the course. When these situations arise no one wants to take full responsibility of it. I can see why, they don't want to be blamed for when it fails. All I think is .. I won't fail, I will do this. See, I like pressure for what it offers. It pushes you to do it better, faster, stronger. It gets you to exceed past even your expectations.

So I say if you haven't taken on a situation that seems grim, try it. If you do take these notes with you:

1. Take full responsibility for it and its actions.
2. Don't be afraid, fear causes mistakes.
3. Be decisive, Make a educated choice, and go with it.
4. Its okay to ask for help or information. This is NEEDED to make a educated decision.
5. Succeed or fail, at least you were the one to try and that's heroic!

Can you do it? Have you done it? Perhaps you have a story that you would like to share? Please do.
